yoga for the body, and be deeply soothed by the pure sounds of one of a kind crystal alchemy
Lama Brian and Shannon van Staden will share their knowledge and tools of simple meditation, yin
yoga for the nervous system and the exceptional healing medicine of sound through the exquisite
pure crystal bowls.
Lama Brian will share profound teachings and philosophy of Tibetan Buddhism along with short
guided meditations and group discussion to start you, or to deepen your own home practice.
Group practice is the best way to start or deepen practice. It is enhancing for your yoga practice.
Shannon van Staden will take you through a guided yin yoga practice weaving in meditation
teachings and breath connection. The session will end with a long healing sound bath to deepen
the relaxation that you have acquired through the practice of guided meditation for mind and yin
yoga for body.
Take home the memories, skills and practices to support you in your daily life. There will be
handouts and recorded talks for you to enjoy at your leisure. Step into your life knowing you have
new tools to navigate your precious life.
About Lama Brian Hilliard
Lama Brian Hilliard is co-founder and head teacher of Mindfulness Journeys. He has practiced,
studied and taught meditation his entire life. Lama Brian has completed the traditional three year
retreat. He is the real deal - profound, genuine, kind and funny. Brian shares life teachings with
you, techniques of meditation and gives you guidance according to your experience and
understanding. He brings authenticity and humour to the practice.
About Shannon van Staden
Shannon van Staden is co-founder of Mindfulness Journeys, a yoga teacher and healer through
sound and body. She takes you on a personal journey of healing and connecting with her calm and
caring style. Wellbeing, sound and music are her passion. Shannon can often be found scouring
the world for beautiful places for retreats, or tucking you in for savasana. Her dedication to your
well-being is a unique gift.
